NEW ORGANIST !

We are delighted that Kristine Donnan has taken up the post of Organist/Choirmaster of Uddingston Old from 1st September.

Kristine has a Bachelor of Music degree with first class honours from the University of Ulster. She is currently doing a Masters in piano accompaniment at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, which she will complete this month, and in which she gained an award from the Conservatoire last term.

Before coming to Scotland, Kristine was organist/choirmaster at St Bartholomew’s Church in her native Belfast, and from September 2017 – July 2018 was organist at Cambuslang Parish Church. She has a great interest in singing, and is the piano accompanist for several community choirs, so she is looking forward to working with the choir here at Uddingston Old.

Welcome Kristine – we look forward to working with you in leading the praise each Sunday!

We also at this time express our sincere thanks to Ian Aitken and Elaine Kirkwood, who played for us during the summer months – their contributions greatly enhanced the services, and was much appreciated by us all. Thanks both!
