Sunday 28th April:
- A very warm welcome to Rev, Roy Tuton who is leading us in worship today. After the service there will be tea and coffee in the large hall. All are welcome.
- Those interested in this afternoon’s walk to Bothwell Castle should meet in the church car park at three o’clock.
- The evening service at 6.30 will take place in the main church. This service will be attended by members and friends of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Lanarkshire Middle Ward for their Annual Divine Service.
Monday 29th April:
The Monday Club is holding a Tea Dance with George Rodger and Friends. The afternoon begins at 2 o’clock. If you require transport, please contact Mary Fox on 82275 or Anne McIntyre on 329239.
Sunday 5th May:
- Pram and Praise 10 – 10.30 in the Godly Play room.
- Morning worship at 11 o’clock.
- Evening service at 6.30 in the side sanctuary, followed by tea and coffee.
Thanks to those who have donated items to the collection for Hamilton District Foodbank, which has been running throughout April. If you would prefer to give a monetary donation please see Liz Vasey.
The total collected last week for Wateraid was £1,320. Thanks to all who brought their jars last week, and an especial thanks to those who helped sort and count the cash. If you have still to bring your jars, can you please do so by next Sunday or as soon as possible thereafter.
Cards for the June Communion are now available for elders to uplift from their pigeon holes.
As some of you may be aware, Rev. Dr James Martin died on 18thApril. Dr. Martin was a very popular locum in this congregation during one of our vacancies. His funeral is at Daldowie Crematorium tomorrow at 11.45. There is also a service of thanksgiving at Motherwell South Church at 1 pm.
