Sunday 12th May
We welcome back Bill Hastings, who will be leading us in worship this morning.

A very warm welcome also to the young people of the Boys Brigade and Girls Brigade who are joining us for their closing parade.

There is no tea and coffee after the service this morning; however, we will be having our Soupa Sunday to mark the beginning of Christian Aid Week. Come round to the large hall after the service and enjoy a bowl of home-made soup. Gift envelopes will be available to make a donation to Christian Aid.

The evening service will be in the Godly Play room at 6.30, and will be conducted by Lynette. Tea and coffee after the service.

Monday 13th May

Tuesday 14th May
Kirk Session meeting at 7.30 in the side sanctuary. Those elders not on email can collect a copy of the meeting papers from the Session Clerk’s pigeon hole.

Wednesday 15th May
Book Club at 7.30 – “The Help” by Katherine Stockett

Sunday 19th May

Pram and Praise 10 – 10.30 in the Godly Play room.

Morning worship at 11 o’clock followed by tea and coffee.

Café Church in the Godly Play room at 6.30, led by Lynette. Tea and coffee before.

Cards and rotas for the June Communion are now available for elders to uplift from their pigeon holes.

The revised list of office bearers and door duty rotas have been e-mailed out. Those office bearers not on e-mail can collect a hard copy from Colin Pettigrew’s pigeon hole.

The Social Committee has arranged a visit to the Edinburgh Playhouse to see as west-end production of the musical “The King and I” on Saturday 26th October. Dress circle seats have been booked, and those interested should add their names to the list on the notice board in the small hall corridor,

We regret to announce death last Sunday of Danny Loudon, Knowhead Gardens, Uddingston. His funeral will take place on Wednesday 22nd May at 11 o’clock here in the church and 12 o’clock at Daldowie. Our thoughts are with the family at this sad time.
