Church Intimations & Notices – Sunday 15th December

Sunday 15th December:

Pram & Praise 10 – 10.30 in the Godly Place space.

Sunday School 10 – 11 am in the small hall. 

Morning service led by the choir in the church at 11 am followed by tea and coffee in the large hall. All welcome. 

Christingle service 3 – 5 pm in the large hall. This is for all ages, and everyone is welcome, so come along and join us for an afternoon of celebration, fellowship and laughter. No evening service today.

Monday 16th December:

Monday Club are being entertained by Uddingston Grammar School pupils from 2 – 3.30.

Tuesday 17th December:

Uddingston Grammar School concert at 7 o’clock. All welcome.

Wednesday 18th December: 

Muiredge will be joining us here in the church for their Christmas assembly at 10 am.

Blue Christmas bereavement service at 7.30. This is for anyone within our parish to come and join us for a quiet, reflective service as we remember our loved ones during the Christmas period.

Friday 20th December:

Community Café 12 – 2 pm. Enjoy a bowl of soup, home baking and a blether.

Sunday 22nd December:

Nativity and Gift Service at 11 am in the church. If you wish to come in your Christmas jumpers, hats, etc, to support our young people, please do so.  Tea, coffee and hot soup will be served afterwards in the large hall. All welcome. No evening service.

On Christmas Eve we have our all-age service at 6.30 and our Watchnight service at 11.30. There will also be a short service on Christmas Day at 11 o’clock.

Next Christmas we hope to have a sale of pre-loved gift bags, but for this to happen you are asked to save any from this Christmas that you no longer need. Please bring them any week and leave them on the front pew. Any size, shape or style can be re-cycled and re-used.

We are sad to announce the death of Mr. Peter Galbraith. His funeral will take place on Monday 16th December, 12 noon, at Daldowie. Our thoughts are with his daughter Carol and the family at this sad time.
