Hygiene and Coronavirus

Hygiene and Coronavirus

To put people at ease and to reduce the possibility of infection, we will be following the latest guidelines from the Scottish government.

FOOD SHOULD NOT BE LEFT OPEN FOR COMMUNAL SHARING

This means that at coffee time there will be no open plates of biscuits/ cakes but instead  biscuits that are individually wrapped.

THE OFFERING WILL NOT BE UPLIFTED AS USUAL, instead it will be received at the door after the service, in the offering plates. Those who count the offering should follow good practice of washing their hands before and after.

THOSE ON DOOR DUTY will be delighted to make you welcome but there will be no handshakes, hugs or kisses.

HAND SANITIZER will be available at the front and side doors or bring your own..

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BIBLE as the communal ones will not be on our church pews. At the moment we will be using the CH4 Hymns books.

THERE IS NO REASON FOR US TO WORRY OR BE FEARFUL, but instead we should be using best hygiene practices. There is no reason, unless you are unwell, to stop coming to church. If anyone has any questions or concerns, please speak to the minister or to one of our elders. Please make sure that your minister / elders have an up to date contact number, email address.
