We are once again in the season of Lent and we are once again collecting for Wateraid to help in their efforts to ensure that everyone on Planet Earth will have access to clean water and good hygiene services by the year 2030. Jar sleeves will be available from the door team each Sunday during lent including today. Please bring your filled jars along on Easter Sunday or as soon thereafter as possible. If you pay income tax and wish to increase the value of your gift to Wateraid by 25%, please complete and sign the gift aid form on the rear of the jar sleeve.
The church records were successfully attested by Presbytery last Wednesday. Those office bearers responsible for keeping records can collect them from the vestry after the service.
You will notice that the inside of the Order of Service contains details of the precautions we are taking during the coronavirus outbreak. Some of you may feel that these are excessive, but they are in line with the guidelines produced by the Scottish Government and the Church of Scotland. Please bear in mind we have a duty of care to everyone who uses our premises.
We are sad to announce the death of Mr Alex Lambie. His funeral will take place tomorrow at 2 o’clock here in the church, and at 3 o’clock at Daldowie. Our thoughts are with the family at this sad time.
