The Rowan tree purchased to commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee was plantedon Saturday and the plaque to show that it forms part of the Queen’s Green Canopy added on Sunday 27th March.

A miniature Easter Garden has been created in the wild garden for the Season of Lent which with a little imagination should represent the events of Holy Week.

Wildflower seeds are being planted now in pots and containers so hopefully in a few months there will be plenty flowers to attract pollinators to the garden. Information on what a wild garden is has also been placed on the green fence. We hope that you will take time to enjoy this little oasis of calm in the village.
