Connie is ready to take part in the annual RSPB survey 2023. I’ve always had good intentions of completing the survey, even spent an hour recording the birds but never got round to submitting the information. Perhaps some of you already take part but if not maybe you’d like to join us. 

To participate all you need to do is go to the RSPB Big Garden Bird Watch site. From there you can print off ID forms directly where you can record your results or sign up and they will send you a free pack. All the info you require is on that site . There is no cost and you don’t need to join the RSPB to sign up. They will also give you 20% off if you spend in their shop when you sign up,  no obligation to use it.

Its a fun hour which passes really quickly and its not just birds. If you see other wildlife such as squirrels, fox , rabbit etc you record that also.

So make a cuppa, get comfy and off you go. You’ll all be citizen scientists.
